Hello!

I am a Certified Menopause Coaching Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer in Calgary, Alberta. I love being outside and feel Alberta is one of the best and beautiful playgrounds for adventures. I have two kids that are young adults now that come and go and are in the process of becoming more independent and figuring out their passions and direction. I also have a cockapoo named Charlotte who does not share my passion for adventure, however she is enjoying her retirement from years of therapy visitations and can be found on her favourite couch by the front window.

My Story

I've spent years working in the health industry, and I've watched countless health trends come and go. Some of these left women feeling frustrated, discouraged, or convinced they just needed to do more cardio. When I entered perimenopause myself, I realized how little I had been taught about what was actually happening to my body. I wanted more than conflicting advice and social media sound bites—I wanted answers. That journey led me to become a Certified Menopause Coaching Specialist so I could combine my years of coaching experience with evidence-informed menopause education to better support both myself and the women I work with. I believe knowledge is empowering. When we understand what's happening in our bodies, we're better equipped to make informed decisions, advocate for our health, and let go of the idea that we simply have to "push through."

My own relationship with my body has changed dramatically over the years. Like many women, I grew up in the era of '90s diet culture, believing that being smaller meant being healthier. I spent years restricting food in pursuit of thinness, often at the expense of feeling well. In my 30s, I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and struggled with recurring knee pain. Movement became something I worried about rather than enjoyed. Then, in my 40s, something shifted. I discovered hiking, mountain biking, adventure travel, and multi-day backcountry trips. For the first time, I stopped asking, "How does my body look?" and started asking, "What amazing things can my body do?" That simple shift changed everything.

Now, in my 50s, my focus is on building strength for life. I prioritize functional strength training, fueling my body, meaningful friendships, recovery, and kitchen dance parties. I'm stronger than I've ever been, living with far less pain, and still saying "yes" to the adventures I love. That's the kind of future I want for you.

Whether your goal is to hike a mountain, keep up with your grandchildren, feel strong carrying groceries, improve your visits to the doctor, or simply feel at home in your body again, we'll work together to build the strength, confidence, and habits that will support you for years to come. Because menopause isn't the beginning of the end—it's the beginning of a new chapter. And I believe it can be one of your strongest yet.
